Personal Information: 

My name is Carmen Stone, I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year.  I look forward to having your child in my classroom. I am starting my 24th year in education with most of my years expereince in Kindergarten. 

I grew up in the Elwood community, north of Bonham. I attended Sam Rayburn ISD from Kindergarten through 12^th grade and graduated in 1994. I started college at Paris Junior College and then transferred to Texas A&M University-Commerce.  I graduated in 1999.

I started my teaching career in Paris ISD as a teaching assistant for two kindergarten classrooms.  After one year in Paris I moved to Greenville and taught Kindergarten in Quinlan ISD for 4 years.  After leaving Quinlan, I moved back home and got a job teaching first grade at Finley Oates.  I taught first grade for 3 years and then moved to Kindergarten where I will be starting my 19^th year at Bonham ISD.

I currently reside in Lamasco, with my husband, Brad.  We have 4 grown children and 1 spoiled dog.  I am the pianist at Elwood Baptist Church. 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching movies, fishing, hunting and I love to bake.
