I graduated from Bonham High School. Once I decided to become a teacher, I enrolled at Southeastern University in Durant and recieved my degree in Elementary Education.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I have an ESL, GT, and SPED certification for elementary grade levels. I am currently working toward becoming a CALT- Certified Academic Language Therapist.
This is my tenth year teaching. I taught my first six years in 6th grade at I. W. Evans. I have been in 3rd grade at Finley Oates for the last three years and I absolutely love it. This will be my first year as the Dyslexia Therapist at Finley Oates.
I have a husband, Brandon, and a son, Lincoln. Lincoln was born on June 25, 2019, so he is a new edition to our family. My husband works as a lineman for Fannin County. We enjoy being outdoors. We are also both Rangers fans and like going to games.
Outside of the classroom, I love to be outdoors and active. I like to fish, play sports, and spend time with my family.
