ADRIANA DENNIS
I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science-Interdisciplinary Studies.
I am certified as a Biligual Generalist-Spanish Grades (EDE-4).
I attend workshops on a yearly basis to enhance my knowledge on strategies, incorporating differentiation in my classroom and creating centers with manipulatives. I attend the yearly National Association of Bilingual Educator’s Conference which has many workshops on technology in the classroom, bilingual education, strategies, etc.
I joined BISD in 2009 at which time I started the Bilingual Pre-K Program at Bailey Inglish. In 2010 together with my Pre-K class I made the transition to Finley-Oates where together we continued with the first Bilingual Kindergarten teaching all subjects. At that time I became part of the Finley-Oates family and have made it my home for the past eight years.
I began my teachinjg career in Greenville where I taught Bilingual Kindergarten for 2 years before jolining BISD. I am starting my 13th year of teaching.
I have 3 sons, 8 grandchildren and my baby (a dog named solo).
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, attending my grandchildren’s sports activites, traveling, shopping and reading.
