This is my 23rd year of teaching. This is my sixth year at Finley-Oates, but I have been with Bonham ISD since 2014. I love Bonham and enjoy the students in this district. I love second grade!

Before coming to FO, I taught 4^th grade at I.W. Evans for 4 years. I have also worked for Greenville ISD and Farmersville ISD.  In Greenville, I taught for 7 years in 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grades, all subjects. In Farmersville, fresh out of college, I taught 2^nd grade for 7 years.

My husband, Bobby, and I were married for 35 years. We have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren. I recently lost my husband last year to cancer. My children and I continue to be strong and, I will continue to live in the beautiful house he built for me here in Bonham. Our children attended Leonard and Trenton schools. We have lived in Fannin County since 1991. 

When I am not teaching, I love to read and watch movies. I also love decorating my new house!! Our family loves to get together for big meals and get-togethers. We also enjoy camping, in a cabin, of course, and kayaking!
