This will be my ninth year teaching and my eleventh year in education. This is my third year at Bonham ISD and I will be teaching first grade! I am super excited to be teaching first grade this year.
My first two years in education I spent with Bonham ISD as an Instructional Aide. I spent my first 3 years of teaching at Bonham ISD, where I taught 3rd Grade and then 4-6 Grade Special Education. After those three year I moved to Morning Star Academy where I have taught grades K-4. I taught a K/1 combined class the first year. The second year I taught a first and second combined class and a third and fourth combined class. The third year I taught 1st Grade. The first year back to Bonham I taught first grade, and last year I taught 3rd grade special education.
My family is very important to me, I have been married to my wonderful husband Lee Goodwin for 13 years. We have three wonderful children, and they are my greatest blessings! We have twins and they are a little over three years old! Emmalynn Grace and Clint Reed. Hadley Faith is 9 months old. We enjoy living in the country and playing outside together.
Some of the things I enjoy doing when I am not in the classroom are spending quality time with my family, reading, and being outdoors. We love the country life, we enjoy checking cows and riding the ranger. I enjoy playing outside with my twins Emmalynn and Clint, and Hadley. We also love to read, my current favoirte books to read are children’s books. My children love to sit down and read with me! We also greatly enjoy going camping as family.
