I graduated high school from Plano Senior High and I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas. 

I am certified in Gen. Ed. EC-6, Special Ed. EC-12 and ESL.

I am a life long learner.  I attend yearly workshops and do online trainings to keep up with the ever evolving world of education.  

I married my high school sweetheart, Mark.  We have been together for 32 years.  We are blessed with one son, Brenden, who has autism.  I credit my son for turning me onto the education path.  I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, a tortoise, 15 chickens, and a guinea pig.  

When I am not teaching or coming up with creative ways to teach my students, you can find me reading, binging on netflix, or crafting something(Pinterest is my BFF)!
