I am thrilled to be back in education here in my first year at Bonham ISD. I am the Third Grade Resource teacher at Finley-Oates Elementary.
I completed a semester of teaching at Commerce ISD in elementary and high school Life Skills classrooms, and high school Resource English. I completed a semester of teaching at Greenville ISD in a K-2 Autism classroom.
During my graduate studies I was a project leader for research in grades 4-12 Social Emotional curriculum in school districts in the East Texa region. I also worked in disability services providing Curriculum and Behavior support with adults. I most recently completed an internship at East Texas Center for Independent Living working with adults with disabilities, where I provided counseling and educational services and led adult education programs. Most of my therapy experience has been in the area of complex trauma and diverse populations.
I hope to continue to work in Special Education and disability services for a long time.
